Freestanding two-bay three-storey square-plan tower, built c.1830. Roof not visible, battlemented parapets to walls, and battlemented turrets to corners. Partial remains of house attached to side.
Belleville Castle was built as a defensive tower house around 1830, likely by a local landholding family. Its architectural features and surviving structure make it an important example of 19th-century Scottish tower house design.
