What is recorded here

Bawn in Tracystown West, County Wexford, Ireland, holds a low rise at the head of a slight valley where a tower house still stands. Faint earthworks to the south and east hint at a rectangular bawn, perhaps fifty metres across, where people may have walked, worked or watched the land. The valley is quiet now, but its shape still suggests a lived and defended place.
The tower house (WX041-002001-) is located on a low rise and at the head of a slight SE-NW valley. There area slight indications of earthworks to the S and E of the structure, perhaps the remains of a rectangular bawn (dims c. 50m N-S; c. 50m E-W).
