Bawn in Derryowen

Derryowen tower house still stands beside a ghost wall, a linear bawn stretching fifteen metres west where stone and memory collide. A rock-cut fosse may have breathed life between them, channeling water or shadow into the tower's roots. The wall has vanished, but the cut remains, a wound in the earth that refuses to heal. Perhaps the bawn was never built to keep people out, but to hold the tower inside a shape the land could remember.
