Freestanding double-height Roman Catholic church, built c. 1850, comprising gabled entrance front with flat-roofed porch, four-bay side elevations and two-bay sacristy to rear. Pitched artificial slate roof with rendered eaves band and carved limestone bellcote. Roughcast rendered walls. Lancet openings with leaded glass widows. Y-tracery to gable window. Retaining interior features included tiled floor, mosaic flooring, raked gallery and marble altar. Rusticated concrete block boundary walls with rendered piers and spear headed gates to site.
