What is recorded here

One field in Skenagun, County Kildare is still listed as a battlefield, though no date, army or account has come forward to explain the violence. That absence makes the ground harder to dismiss: somewhere beneath the grass a line held, broke or bled. The names are missing, but the shape of the event remains, waiting for a witness brave enough to listen.
