Not marked on OS 1836 or 1876 eds. Sited on the summit of a low hillock. Small circular mound (diam. c. 8.5m; H 1.5m) enclosed by a low but well- defined earthen bank. Original entrance not recognisable. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
