Barrow

In pasture, in rolling countryside. Circular area (4.5m N-S; 4.6m E-W) enclosed by shallow fosse (D 0.4m) with almost levelled external bank (int. H 0.45m). Second ring-barrow (11855) c. 8m to NW. Ring-barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its proximity to a second ring-barrow suggests a possible funerary or ritual landscape.
