In level pasture, with drain/stream flanking S-side. Circular area (dims. c. 33m N-S; c. 34m E-W) defined by earthen scarp (Wth c. 4m; H c. 1.5m); inner fosse (Wth c. 9.25m; D c. 1.5m) in which stream enters from SE and exits at SW; inner bank (Wth c. 9.25m; int. H 1.3m; ext H c. 0.7m); outer fosse (Wth c. 5.75m; D 1.1m) and outer bank (Wth c. 6.25m; int. H c. 1.1m; ext. H c. 0.3m). Interior level with numerous badger sets within.
