On the flat shoulder of a W-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area, overlooking Gortnageragh river valley from S through W to N. Possible enclosures (TS044-003---- and TS044-002----) are 220m to the N and 1km to the NE respectively. A well-preserved ring-barrow consisting of a low mound (diam. 4m N-S; H 0.2m) enclosed by an inner fosse (Wth 1.5m; D 0.45m) and external bank (Wth 2.4m; ext. H 0.3m). It is visible as a small enclosure on an aerial photograph (GSI R. 305/6; 08/04/74). Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
