In rough upland area on the summit of a ridge, ringfort known locally as 'Lissnaderne' (LI038-022----) lies 270m to SW. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Surveyed in 1994 and described as a flat circular-shaped area (diam. 5m) defined by a U-shaped fosse (top Wth 2m; base Wth 0.8m; D 0.7m) and a low earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 0.4m; int. H 0.8m) with traces of a possible causewayed entrance (Wth 1.5m) at ESE (SMR File, Field Report P. Danaher 01/07/1994). Outline of monument visible as circular-shaped area of clear vegetation on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-2012. Scrub-free area visible on Google Earth orthoimages. Monument placed on the Register of Historic Monuments in 1994 (Schedule Serial No. 14/94).
