What is recorded here

In low-lying, wet pasture, which is cut by land drains and watercourses. Within a large complex of ring-barrows. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a small circular-shaped cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 15705: AP 4/3665). Monument is visible as a small roughly circular-shaped cropmark (9m ENE-WSW; 8.5m NW-SW) on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, however is not visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 25/03/2017. A Bronze Age ring-barrow; part of a larger burial complex. Its presence indicates early communal burial practices in the region.
