What is recorded here

On low-lying improved pasture, 20 E of a land drain. Ring-barrows(LI023-190002-) lies 100m to NW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a circular-shaped cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey (Bruff 279: AP 4/3693). Monument is visible as a circular-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-2013. See attached Google Earth orthoimage 28/06/2018 and Bruff aerial survey image labelled Bruff 279. A Neolithic ring-barrow; significant as an example of early funerary monument types in the region, though its wider context remains poorly documented.
