Not visible at ground level. Described by Davies (1942) as a conical shaped mound (H 3ft) enclosed by an inner fosse (Wth 6ft) and external bank (H 2ft). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). Ring-barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its construction with an inner fosse and external bank indicates a significant ceremonial or funerary function, typical of burial monuments in this period.
