Situated at the crest of the N-facing slope of a broad hill in an undulating landscape. This is a circular, flat-topped and grass-covered mound (diam. of top 11m N-S; diam. of base 16.5m N-S) that slopes down to the N (H 0.9m) and has some bushes. It is defined by a scarp (at N: Wth 2.5m; H 1m), with a slight fosse (Wth of top 8m; int. D 0.2m; ext. D 0.9m) SE-SW. Barrow (ME015-049001-) is c. 15m to the SE and barrow (ME015-049003-) is c. 40m to the WNW.
