Situated on a shelf towards the bottom of the NE-facing slope of a hill. Attached to rath (ME015-047----) at NE is a small D-shaped annexe visible as a raised grass-covered area (dims 14.5m NE-SW; c. 11m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (at NE: Wth 2.3m; H 0.9m).
