A Neolithic ditch barrow; its construction dates to the early to middle Neolithic period (c. 4000–3000 BCE). This type of monument is significant as it represents an early form of ceremonial or funerary earthwork, often associated with burial practices and communal ritual activity in prehistoric Ireland.
