Freestanding double-arch road bridge, built c.1820, spanning river. Segmental-headed arches having dressed ashlar limestone voussoirs with shallow projecting keystone. Ashlar limestone V- cutwater to central piers to north and south elevations with domed render caps. Rubble stone spandrels and parapets with flat and round-headed rendered coping.

A fine bridge that remains in good condition and continues to fulfil its original function. High-quality stonework can be seen in its arches, spandrels, cutwaters and parapet walls. It is a testament to the excellent workmanship of those involved in its construction.
