Balnagown Castle, Laundry stands in Ross and Cromarty as a surviving laundry from the nineteenth century, still marked on the official map near NH 7628 7530. It is not a grand castle chamber but a working building where water, soap and human muscle turned cloth clean for nearby lives. The name suggests a later castle memory, yet the structure itself belongs to domestic labour and local service.
