Single-arch rubble stone road bridge, c.1830. Broken coursed squared rubble limestone walls with full-height piers, round-headed recessed niches to flanking abutments, and cut-limestone coping to parapets. Single round arch with limestone ashlar voussoirs, and squared rubble stone soffits having remains of lime render over. Sited spanning stream with stream now dry.

A well-composed bridge incorporating fine Classically-derived detailing, including pilaster-like piers and niches. The construction of the arch, which has retained its original profile, confirms the technical engineering significance of the structure. The bridge forms an integral component of the Ballysaggartmore House estate, and contributes positively to the character of the landscape.
