Architectural fragment in Longford Demesne is an architectural fragment in Longford Demesne, County Sligo, Ireland. It is one of eight carved stone plaques set into the walls of the so-called Old Chapel in the former demesne of Longford House. The plaque is on the interior south wall and measures 0.58m high and 0.37m wide at its maximum dimensions. A cross with expanded terminals appears on the stone, with the date 1730 carved in false-relief below it.
This is one of a series of eight carved stone plaques set into the walls of the so-called 'Old Chapel' (SL019-093001-) in the former demesne of Longford House. It is on the interior S wall: stone (0.58m H, Wth 0.37m max dims) carved with a cross with expanded terminals and date '1730' carved in false-relief below it.
