Architectural fragment in Glinsk (ballymoe By.)

Architectural fragment

What is recorded here

That is certain. A fragment of an ogee-headed window remains visible protruding from the base of the N wall, just E of the doorway of the 17th-century house in Glinsk. It may originally have come from the castle beside it. The building reused its own ancestor rather than destroying the memory entirely.
