In gently undulating terrain. According to the Civil Survey (1654-6) in 1640 there was 'a thatcht house & few Cabbins' in 'Mogorban' whose proprietor was James, Earl of Ormond (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 198). The Down Survey (1655-6) depicts three houses in the vicinity. The house described may be incorporated in the present Arbourhill House which is a two-storey, three bay house with irregular fenestration that has been widened and a hipped roof with roughly central chimney. Modern porch added onto doorway.
