Rectangular-plan limestone built pier, built c. 1840, having semi-circular-plan mooring projection and flight of cut limestone steps to east. Cut limestone copings. Rubble stone and rendered parapet walls.
Structure forms a group of related maritime structures in the area. Displays fine stonework and construction. An important part of the maritime heritage of the area.
