Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1930, having two-storey lean-to additions to side (north) elevation. Hipped slate roof with timber-clad overhanging eaves, decorative ridge tiles, rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Breaks to eaves over first floor window openings to front (east) and side (north, south) elevations. Rendered walls throughout with moulded render platband, having moulded render panels to ground floor of side (south) elevation. Square-headed window openings with limestone sills throughout, with first floor window openings to front and side elevations set to eaves level. One-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows in single, bipartite, tripartite and four-light arrangements with timber mullions. Square-headed door openings throughout, having glazed timber doors and limestone thresholds. Located within own grounds having rubble limestone enclosing walls with solider coping. Square-profile rubble limestone gate piers with plinths and solider caps to south having replacement double-leaf steel gates.

A well-proportioned early twentieth century house of a notable and somewhat unusual design. The wide but evenly space window openings are of particular note and greatly enlivens the building's expansive façade, as do the various window arrangements. The house is granted artistic merit by unusual decorative render panelling, and retains much of its original fabric and character intact. It is an interesting, intact, early twentieth century addition to the prodominantly nineteenth century historic housing stock of the area.
