Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1870, with two-storey block to rear (south). Hipped slate roof with red brick chimneystacks, eaves course and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls with rendered quoins. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, having one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows and moulded render surrounds to front (north) elevation. Round-headed door opening with moulded render surround. Two-storey outbuilding to rear having pitched slate roof with cast-iron rainwater goods and rubble stone walls. Square-headed openings with timber battened fittings. Segmental-headed opening to ground floor. Set within own grounds.

A handsome house displaying many noteworthy features including decorative render, paired red brick chimneystacks and timber sliding sash windows, which enhance the building's character. The related outbuildings add to its context and setting.
