Semi-detached two-bay single-storey estate worker’s house with dormer attic, c.1840, on a corner site retaining early fenestration. Renovated, c.1965. Now in private residential use. One of a pair. Pitched (shared) slate roof with tarred felt, c.1965, over, clay ridge tiles, rendered (shared) chimney stack, square rooflight, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted rendered walls over random rubble stone construction. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, and 2/2 timber sash windows. Square-headed door opening with replacement timber panelled door, c.1965. Set back from line of road in shared grounds on a corner site with random rubble stone boundary wall to perimeter of site having pair of piers with cut-stone capping, and wrought iron gate.

An appealing, small-scale house of almost vernacular form and appearance, built as one of a pair (with 22902931/WD-29-31), which retains most of its original form and early fabric. The house, together with the second in the pair, illustrates the development of the outlying grounds associated with the Sapperton House estate in the mid nineteenth century, and contributes significantly to the visual appeal of the locality.
