Semi-detached two-bay single-storey with attic former estate worker’s house, one of a uniform grouping of sixteen, built c.1860 and now a private dwelling. The building is constructed in rubble with granite quoins and dressings, whilst the slated gable-ended pitched roof has an overhang with plain bargeboards and eaves, and a granite chimneystack. The entrance is to the south gable and consists of a partly glazed replacement timber door. The windows themselves are flat-headed and have replacement uPVC top-hung frames. The property is situated back from the roadside behind a relatively long garden.

This house has witnessed the replacement of much of its original roof, door and window fabric, however it has retained a semblance of its original rustic appearance and remains an asset to the semi-rural aspect of Quarry Street.
