Detached three-bay two-storey house, dated 1887, having paired full-height canted bay windows flanking first floor balcony to front (south). Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered walls with roughcast rendered diamond panels to front elevation. Rendered sill courses and moulded eaves course to canted bays. Raised render date plaque to west gable. Square-headed window openings with rendered sills throughout, having one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Round-headed door opening to front elevation with moulded render surround and timber panelled door. Square-headed door opening to rear (north) elevation with timber battened door having cast-iron door furniture. Remains of single-storey building to yard with pitched slate roof and rubble stone walls. Set within own grounds.

The interesting front façade of this house with its symmetrical canted-bay windows, round-headed door opening and balcony mark a departure from the traditional rectangular-plan which had been utilised for many rural houses throughout the century. Although in poor repair, it retains many of its original features, including slates, timber sash windows and timber doors. The render detailing articulates the building.
