Winter Tor is a small granite tor rising above the surrounding moorland in West Devon, typically around 450–500 metres in height. It is part of the Dartmoor granite massif and is associated with local folklore, including tales of hidden caves and ancient ritual activity. Its prominence and geological interest make it a notable feature for both hikers and geologists.
