Ivy Tor is a prominent coastal rock formation located in West Devon, composed primarily of Devonian slate. It formed around 400 million years ago through the metamorphism of sedimentary rocks under heat and pressure, and is notable for its striking tors that are characteristic of the Dartmoor and surrounding upland landscapes.
