What is recorded here

Located on a N-facing slope in a col with higher ground to the N and S. A house of five bays and three storeys, now abandoned. It was built in 1771 for Richard Dockrel, according to a date stone. The stones of the unlocated Hackettstown castle (WA008-033----), c. 5km to the SE, are thought to have been used in building it (Martin 1874-5, 248), but no diagnostic dresses stones are visible.
