Marked as an oval enclsoure (ext. dims. c. 50m N-S; c. 40m E-W) on the 1840 ed. and as a small circular quarry (diam. c. 30m) on the 1927 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on a gentle N-facing slope. A slightly dished, grass-covered circular area (diam. c. 20m) is barely discernible.
