What is recorded here

White Church in County Kilkenny, Ireland has been reduced to two mounds of rubble where its Western, Northern and Eastern walls once stood. Very few stones remain in place, presumably carried elsewhere to build newer walls, roads or homes. The church did not vanish so much as it moved, its substance scattered into the living county while its shape faded from memory.
The church is only defined by two mounds of rubble where the Western, Northern and Eastern walls once stood. Very few stones are still in situ. Presumably, the rest were re-used elsewhere.
