What is recorded here

Whitcastles House stands in Dumfries and Galloway as a post Medieval farmhouse, its walls holding the shape of ordinary life rather than grand ambition. It may have fed horses, sheltered children during storms, and watched fields change from barley to bracken. The house does not need a heroic claim because it is still doing what farms do: occupying land, resisting forgetfulness, and giving people a reason to return.
