What is recorded here

Gateway, extant 1924[?], on a symmetrical plan comprising pair of tuck pointed snecked rock faced limestone piers on drag edged tooled cut-limestone chamfered cushion courses on plinths having slate-covered pyramidal capping supporting wrought iron double gates. Now disused. Set in landscaped grounds shared with Westport House.
A gateway not only contributing positively to the group and setting values of the Westport House estate, but also illustrating the continued development or "improvement" of the estate in the early twentieth century.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
