Well in Sliss

This well is not marked on any edition of the OS maps. Situation and Description: All that survives of this well today is a waterlogged area. There are no traces of the dressed stone steps which are thought to have led from the external ground level to the water source. Rounds/Legends/Offerings: Fr O'Keeffe of Asdee states that no patterns or visitations have been held here in living memory, but according to local tradition these did take place in the past.
