In undulating pasture, at foot of S-facing slope. Roughly-circular well (0.78m E-W; 0.88m N-S) with dry-stone lining, containing water to depth of c. 1m. Dry-stone lining rises to form wall enclosing well (H 1.3m), covered by single lintel, with opening facing S. Short passage (Wth c. 0.8m) leads to opening from trackway c. 1.7m to S.
