In 1999 a limited archaeological excavation behind 100 Main Street revealed a domestic well within a building (TS061-023053-) of at least 16th/17th-century date. The well was found c. 15m from the street front (Pollock 2000, 286). Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 05 August 2014
