Freestanding cast-iron trough, extant 1939. Now disused. Road fronted on grass verge.
A trough supplied by Glenfield and Kennedy (established 1852) of Kilmarnock representing an interesting example of cast-iron work making a pleasing, if largely inconspicuous visual statement in Irish Town.
