Freestanding cast-iron water pump, installed c. 1870, having fluted head, spout and cap, banded shaft and curved handle. Now disused.
Attractive cast-iron water pump located in its original position in the small settlement of Mogeely. Would have once acted as a communal water source. Well executed banding and fluting. Elegantly curved handle.
