Cast-iron water pump, c.1870, with an acorn finial.
This cast-iron water pump is located at the crossroads in the centre of Donacarney. Its central location must have made it a focal point of social interaction in the town, when people would have met and communicated as they drew water. This attractive cast-iron water pump has a high level of artistic detailing.
