Water mill

Unlocated watermill within the townland of Drumcaw or Mountlucas that was reported in the Leinster Leader in 1957 (December 1957). In 1609 King James I granted Francis Gofton one of the auditors of the imprests in England lands in County Offaly which included 'Dromchaie [Drumcaw or Mountlucas] and the water-mill there' (Cal. pat. rolls Ire., Jas I, 129).
