The Walled garden in Cooldrinagh contains the remains of a two-storey house. Other gardens have a shed for when someone says, ‘I need five minutes to myself.’ This one seems to have anticipated the length of an Irish goodbye and provided overnight accommodation.
Enclosed former walled garden, c.1765. Limestone rubble boundary walls with entrance to west having replacement iron gates. Remains of two-storey house and lean-to outbuildings contained within.
An intact walled garden, containing an interestingly sited house, which is an important element of the former Cooldrinagh demesne and the Lane area in general.
