Trinity Grave Yard

Situated on a marked W-facing slope overlooking a stream. Slight trace of a church defined by two low stony banks (L 5m; H 0.5m) forming a NW angle towards the W side of the graveyard. The graveyard is a quadrangular enclosure (dims. 52m E-W; 45m N-S), defined by a stone wall. A plaque on the wall beside the gate shows that it was erected in 1845 'at the desire and expense of Robert Truell Esq.' A curving earthen bank (H 1m) extending 20m to the W may indicate an original oval enclosure (dims. c. 70m E-W; 45m N-S).
