Two-storey circular structure (int. diam. 9.5m; wall thickness 0.8m) built onto NE end of East Grove House. Polygonal pointed roof with projecting eaves supported on brackets. According to local information, built to celebrate battle of Trafalgar (1805); shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
