Castle & Promontory Fort; Dunfert or Ballyreagh Castle in BallyreaghCastle & Promontory Fort · 896 yd

Explorer Tom Ballyreagh Castle is a promontory fort that thinks it’s a beach club for ghosts. A fox took charge once and never gave the keys back. Bring a pen pal, they'll be jealous of your ghostly friends.

Explorer Tom West Strand is a quiet corner of County Antrim, where one man and his dog often enjoy the fresh coastal air.

Ramore HeadPark · 1.1 mi

Explorer Tom Ramore Head sounds like a rugged headland, so we should probably bring sturdy boots for the rocky paths.

Water towerRailway Station Structures · 1.2 mi

Explorer Tom Water tower in Portrush is just a big pipe that thinks it’s fancy. Built for trains, now it’s mostly for show. Find the date carved somewhere and feel clever about knowing when the steam stopped mattering.

Curry's Fun ParkTheme or amusement park · 1.2 mi

Explorer Tom Curry’s Fun Park might be a chaotic, wonderful spot where families mix for rides and cotton candy treats.

Signal boxRailway Station Structures · 1.2 mi

Explorer Tom Signal box in Portrush is having a midlife crisis, built in the 1880s and still pretending it knows where the trains are. It’s got a water tower mate too, so they’re probably arguing about who left the lights on. Bring a map, get lost anyway, that’s the fun.

Town HallVisitor information · 1.2 mi

Explorer Tom I once thought a crane was about to hit the Town Hall, but it was just my angle playing tricks on my brain.

East StrandBeach / strand · 2.1 mi

Explorer Tom East Strand looks towards the White Rocks, often buzzing with charity walkers raising funds for leukemia research here.

Little SkerriesIslet · 2.2 mi

Explorer Tom Little Skerries peer out from the harbor, a tiny companion to Winkle Island and Castle Island.

Church & Graveyard: Ballywillin in GlebeChurch & Graveyard: Ballywillin · 2.2 mi

Explorer Tom Ballywillin in Glebe has been scheduled since medieval times and still argues with the next village over something daft, like fence posts. There’s a caretaker’s cottage nearby that looks derelict from the back. Bring curiosity, leave with a better story than mine.

Holy well: tubber patrick in Crossreagh EastHoly Well: Tubber Patrick · 2.6 mi

Explorer Tom Holy well: tubber patrick in Crossreagh East was built using an estimated forty million cups of tea as mortar. It’s basically a solid block of caffeine now. Ten minutes here and you'll have a yarn for the pub.
