Tobernacally, Feegat is a holy well associated with Saint Fachtna, a 6th-century Irish saint known for his ascetic practices and connection to the Céli Dé reform movement. The well is traditionally linked to cures for skin ailments and is visited by pilgrims who perform rituals such as circling the well or collecting water for healing purposes.
