Tobercronan is a holy well traditionally associated with Saint Cronan, a 6th-century Irish monk and founder of several monastic sites in Munster. The well is believed to have curative properties, particularly for eye ailments, and was historically visited as part of a pilgrimage tradition involving prayer and the collection of water.
