The Wrekin is a prominent hill in Shropshire, England, with an elevation of approximately 398 meters. It is composed mainly of Silurian greywacke and is surrounded by local folklore, including legends of a buried giant and associations with the wizard Merlin. The hill has historical significance as a defensive site and a landmark in the region.
