Detached five-bay single-storey vernacular house with attic, built c.1890. Recent flat-roof extension to rear. Pitched thatched roof with raised ridge and low rendered chimneystacks. Dormer windows to rear wall. Rendered walls. Square-headed openings with rendered sills and replacement windows. Square-headed door opening with replacement door. Enclosed by roughcast rendered walls, rubble stone walls and dressed limestone piers, with concrete copings.
This dwelling is typical of the modest vernacular mode of building. The retention of its thatched roof adds to its architectural and technical significance.
